Gace Brulé "Contre tens que voi frimer"

by Concentus Musicus MN, Arthur Maud, dir. | Chamber Consort 'Food of Love' 1985,

Contre tens que voi frimer

Les arbres et blanchoier.

M’est pris talenz de chanter

Si n’en eusse mestoer;

Q’Amors me fet comparer

Ce qu’onques ne soi trichier,

N’onques ne poi endurer

A avoir faus cuer legier,

Porce ai failli a amie.

Mout par me sout bien grever

Ce que me dëust aidier;

Ce est leiament amer;

Qu’ailleurs ne me soi vengier.

Dieus la me laist oublier

Por estre hors de dangier!

Neporquant bien doit trover

Folie quant je la quier.

Ha! las, foleur n’est ce mie.
